Description
The thick ring pessary consists of high-quality silicone. It can be stored at temperatures from 0 to 50 °C protected from UV radiation without contact to reactive media, gas, ozone or mineral oil.
Application/Intended purpose
In contrast to normal ring pessary the thick ring has a larger surface area, which can reduce pressure problems. The intended purpose is genital prolapse grade 1 and 2. An intact pelvic floor (also if reduced) is required for this pessary. The pessary is also suitable for selfmanagement by the patient.
Note
The maximal uninterrupted period of application is 30 days. The patient should be trained about application, change or additional therapies by healthcare professionals.
The product must not be used by other patients. The pessary may be cleaned by running water without using any disinfectant.
